----------- Although James McMurtry has been around for a number of years, I don't really know his music. So rather than write an ignorant review, I'm posting a bunch of photos instead. I "improved" a few of them with digital techniques. -----------------

The trio functioned as a unit rather than star + backup. Bassman Ronnie Johnson also contributed vocal
harmonies. The drummer was Brian Sebastion.

McMurtry played more lead guitar than most singer-songwriter types.

The next day, James McMurtry went to KPCC-FM in nearby Pasadena and pre-taped an interview that was aired on 10-6-97. During the session he performed four songs with his band: Fuller Brush Man, Peter Pan, Sixty Acres, and Wild Man From Borneo. The interviewer was Mia Karnatz.
